Perry Payne Apartments in Downtown Cleveland

Our Story

The Perry Payne Apartments are located at 740 Superior Avenue, in Cleveland’s Historic Warehouse District. When constructed in 1888, the Perry Payne was the tallest structure between New York and Chicago. It was designed by the world-renowned architectural firm of Cuddell & Richardson and was viewed as a technological marvel for its era. Architects and engineers from around the country came to downtown Cleveland to study this unique structure.

The Landmark Companies commenced their historic rehabilitation in September 1994 and completed construction in December 1995. The Perry Payne Apartments consists of 93 one, two, and three-bedroom loft-style suites ranging from 415 – 1200 sq. ft. Convenience, unique style, incredible value and the great views that Perry Payne offers are just a few reasons why so many Clevelanders want to call this historic gem home.
